Fortune 500 company Textron and Fortune 1000 company Nortek Incorporated are headquartered in Providence. The international headquarters for GTECH are likewise located here.
There is a really rich culture and arts sector in this modest-sized city. One of the top art schools in the nation, called the Rhode Island School of Design, is situated in Providence.
